Counter setup

This page is already wired for GoatCounter. To activate the visible counters, create your GoatCounter site and replace YOUR-GOATCOUNTER-CODE near the bottom of this file with your site code.

  1. Keep the Google Drive file shared as Anyone with the link.
  2. In GoatCounter settings, enable public visitor counters.
  3. Replace YOUR-GOATCOUNTER-CODE in this file, for example dashuiobd.
  4. Upload this file to your GitHub Pages repo as downloads.html.
The button link can survive Drive file renames because it uses the Google Drive file ID. It can break if the file is deleted, replaced with a brand-new Drive file, or sharing permissions are restricted.
